I noticed when I was doing the dialogue for this comic, that the man with the headphones mysteriously disappeared between panels, and that seemed to be the reason that the kind young man could give up his seat. I wanted to do a joke version of this comic in Japanese, but as you can probably tell by the dialologue I wrote here, I don’t know enough words to make a silly situation make sense grammatically.

It’s interesting interpretation. You still use じじい. You want to use it, but be careful when you use the phrase.
